Battlefield 3 Challenge: Skull Cracker

One of the coolest features of the Gun Club are the badges awarded for completing challenges.

The current Gun Club Challenge is for Battlefield 3, titled "Skull Cracker". The challenge starts December 14th and ends December 31st at midnight. To complete the challenge, players must get 50 headshot kills in Battlefield 3’s online multiplayer during the specified duration. Accept the challenge by logging into Gun Club and going to 'Challenges' under the 'My Gun Club' section and click the “Bring It On” button. Once accepted, you’ll have until Midnight PST on December 31st to get 50 headshots kills on the Battlefield.

Once you’ve met the criteria and verified on the site, you’ll be awarded the “Skull Cracker” badge, earning some well-deserved bragging rights while having some fun in the process.

Note: When you've verified that you've completed the Challenge you will be placed in a queue for processing and it may take up to 24 hours for the Gun Club to verify.

The Challenge ends on December 31st. Good luck and happy hunting!

I'm pretty sure I got this challenge completed. When you use a bolt-action rifle, you tend to aim only for the head. Sadly, it still says I'm not done with it.

Sadly this challenge is a complete waste of time. Nice troll EA! Like good lemmings we'll keep coming back to check this. All we need is to be addressed with an apology or a solution before you lose gamers as loyal fans of your products!

How can this be profitabel for thos whom dont have that mutch time to play. I mean I am a CEO of a big company so i make allot of working hours. Back in the days i even skipped school for playing Black Hawk Down but now thos days are over. Will there be some compromis for people like me?

same here, completed the challange within a couple of days but still says not complete. also looked at the stats on my games for bf3 and they are all wrong and dont match my battlelog even a bit. really needs sorting out!!!

WTF? says I need 50 head shots from dec.14 to dec. 31! Not from date you accepted the challenge but from the 14th!!! I didnt start playing the game until the 15th. I have 59 headshots on just the m4a1 alone. So how have I not completed this challenge yet?

I Agree with KCFireFighter. Why create such things when your system is obviously so poorly created that it cannot recognize simple inputs like gaming stats, which are EASILY verifiable through your servers. EA, Origin, Crap, what do they all have in common? They are Simple, Falling Apart, and eventually everyone is gonna drop em. I'm very disappointed to say the least, but if this doesn't stop, I'm gonna have to leave for good.

To be honest I think the head-shot model in BF3 (PS3) is not well done. Apparent head-shots is not marked as such and body shots often count as head-shots. I sneaked up and used the gun towards a head once, got a hit mark only :( also when shooting snipers with only the head sticking up, you get normal kills most of the time. DICE did this much better in MoH.

Done way over 100 headshots and still it says its not complete Now even do not allow verify it and still stays on green button Challenge not complete. Keep going! Even when I tryed to clean cache etc.

i made 80 Headshots with the M39 EMR and 39 with the MK11 MOD 0 and many more with other guns. But it says NOT complete. FIX THAT!!!

I got about 200 headshots in last week, but chellange is still incomplete. Though I got done assignments connected with headshots and my accuracy dogtag shows exactly how many headshots I had.

Rather annoying that its not working, got the 50 head shots an still can't complete the damn challenge, an i agree with the other guys that were saying about the head shot model, alot of the time shooting some chap with just his head exsposed only earns me a hit, I hope there gana sort this out problem out seeing as tommorow is the 31st.

I would also like to (as would all others here I am sure) recommend that the counter is added, so you know what you have left to do. (Even if it only updates every day or whatever, just add a 'as of' tag to it. IE: 14 left to go, keep going (as of 8:42PM EST)

After having 5 Stars with M98, as well as headshots with other small arms, I still don't have the badge completion. Same for the M1911 Supressor badge, where I *know* I've gotten kills along with a number of bodies for the 1k badge...

I am having the same issues as everyone else. If your having any server communication that is faulty or tech problems. I would fix it fast. We, as in fans, are doing our best to stay positive, but would really like the cred. I completed this and no reward. Keep up the hard work. So will we. Same here, I type this at 1506 Mountain, so 1706 Eastern. I played this morning for a couple hours, come to the site to check if it gave me the challenge yet, and says there is no challenge. I KNOW I got the required headshots in the specified time, and I still have (going by Eastern time, as EA/Dice always does) almost 7 hours.

Gun Club is a JOKE! Didn't give me credit for completing the Skull Cracker challenge. Hasn't given some badges I earned and has given me others I haven't earned. This sure is *special*.

When it says it ends at midnight Dec. 31st... that should mean 12:00am Dec. 31st before 12:01am Jan. 1st NOT 12:00am Dec. 30th before 12:01am Dec. 31st!! I have yet to get any of these challenges registering that I completed them and the pressing of that button to show you got it is a waste of time, it should do it automatically!!

EA, you need to fix this. These kind of things are NOT going to help you surpass CoD. I also "think" I got 50 headshots. Unfortunately I have no way to verify how much of this challenge I have completed. Heck, I can't even find in game(ps3), or in my battlelog how many headshots I have. I like the idea of what you guys are doing, but it has to WORK. You are a billion dollar company. There is no reason why your websites should not work. Most *********** websites run better than gunclub and battlelog.

It seems to me that with all the "Aimbot" users that this would be a useless challenge. I guess charging people to play so we could avoid cheaters hasn't worked after all.
