Battlefield 3 Challenge: Stab and Grab 40

One of the coolest features of the Gun Club are the badges awarded for completing challenges.

The current Gun Club Challenge is for Battlefield 3 and is titled "Stab and Grab 40". Players must get up close and personal with the enemy, requiring 40 knife kills in Battlefield 3’s online multiplayer. Accept the challenge by logging into Gun Club and going to 'Challenges' under the 'My Gun Club' section and click the “Bring It On” button. Once accepted, you’ll have until Midnight PST on November 13 to get 40 knife kills on the Battlefield. Once you’ve met this criteria, you’ll be awarded the “Stab and Grab 40” badge, earning some well-deserved bragging rights while having some fun in the process.

Want to know your status for the Stab and Grab Challenge? Check out Battlelog for your stats.

Here's how:

1. Go to battlelog.battlefield.com

2. Log in with your Origin ID (the same email address and password you use to play Battlefield 3 and to login to Gun Club).

3. Go to 'Stats' in the top navigation

4. In your Profile navigation click 'Weapons & Equipment'

5. You'll see your Knife weapon and kills listed

Please note: Once you've verified that you've completed the Challenge you will be placed in a queue for processing - it may take up to 24 hours for the Gun Club to verify.

The Challenge ends on November 13 so get to it. Good luck and happy hunting!

I think he should not 40 kills, but you must 40 kills enemies by taking their dog tag with the knife. :D

I did it the other night, it says "Challenge Complete", but nothing. From what I have read it says it may take up to 24 hours to go thru and get the badges. If I dont see it by tonight.. well it will suck but what can you do?!?!

Ive completed the challenge yesterday and still nothing... this lame excuse of a high volume of players that excepted the challenge is why theres no verification is plain thoughtless.. why wouldnt EA know how many people play this game and are gonna accept the challenge they put online. there needs to be more preparation for this challenge stuff. to excuse the big mess up, i would accept an exclusive knife kill dogtag plus my achievement badge and medal. with all due respect Ktemplar

I had 46 knife kills and it isn't saying I had the challenge completed nor could I verify it anymore. It says the challenge was good until midnight on Nov. 13th but it is not midnight yet and the challenge has disappeared! Did that mean 12:00am on Saturday Nov. 12th?

296 kills with the knife as of now and the button disappeared, i didnt see the challenge till yesterday and started with 253 knife kills but the challenge disapeared. it did say the 13th right? and by the looks of it im not the only one with this dumb *** problem can someone fix this please

ive been trying to get them to update my Stats for the games i play on the ps3 for weeks now. ive got 100% in battlefield 1943, but my gun club account is saying ive only played it a short time. ive sent emails to EA about this thay say the will get back to me in 24 hours, that comes and goes and no ones gets back to me, so i send more emails to them and still not a thing from them. the frist thing you see when you open BATTLEFIELD 3 is please make a gun club account. and thay cant even get it all to work

Same here. It seems that the link disappeared as of the challenge end date which is not cool. For those of us who accepted the challenge long before the end date, at least let us grab the reward for it. Seems unprofessional to not have much support on this.

It's been over a week (closer to 2) since the challenge and there has been no statement to suggest that this issue will be solved soon. It would be nice if this site had more promise, but I have a feeling it will soon be forgotten like EA's customers. Maybe this site should have been offered as a beta rather than a feature since it clearly needs improvement. Hopefully this site won't disappear and might be working by the time BF4 comes out.

I got my badge, about 10 days later, after i had gotten 108 knife kills within the challenge time, mean while this site says that my character has 10k kills 5k deaths, and 41 knife kills. For this site being controlled directly by EA, it really blows, you would think it wouldn't be that hard to update stats from their own game.
